At the Scaredy Cat Hospital, we believe that caring and compassion are the obvious and necessary traits that all vets must have.
However, it is understanding, intelligence, resourcefulness, and intuition that make a veterinarian excel at helping cats and their owners. Further, the best feline vets possess the ability to communicate to the pet owner the nature of their cat’s illness so that an educated, balanced treatment plan can be instituted.

ANGELA WOOD
DVM
Dr. Angela Wood was born and raised in Minnesota and is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison school of Veterinary Medicine. Her interest in animals started at an early age, as she grew up on a farm and even worked as a vet assistant while in veterinary school.
After graduating, she completed a one year emergency & critical care internship. She brings the clients of The Scaredy Cat Hospital the most up-to-date knowledge of all aspects of care and treatment.

KATELYN GRENAGER
DVM
Doctor Katelyn Grenager graduated from veterinary school at St. George’s University and did her clinical year at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She was born and raised in Ninemile, Montana and moved to Arizona to escape the cold Montana winters. She grew up surrounded by animals and was inspired to help all animals achieve the best quality of life. Dr. Grenager’s passions include animal welfare, diagnostic imaging, soft tissue surgery, and preventative care. With a deep passion for feline health and well-being, Dr. Grenager is committed to providing compassionate, expert medical treatment tailored to the unique needs of every cat. Whether performing routine check-ups, diagnosing complex conditions, or offering advanced treatment options, Dr. Grenager ensures that every feline patient receives the best possible care.
She has a cat named Banana who has travelled with her through many of her adventures while achieving higher education. In her free time, she enjoys exploring nature, paddle boarding, snowboarding/skiing, ballet, yoga, and trying new foods.
